Teach an After-School Enrichment Class

Share a hobby, skill, or interest with Arbor Heights students! We’re looking for community members to lead a class or club in an upcoming After-School Enrichment session. Past volunteer-led classes have included soccer, storytelling, art, and gardening — we’d love to hear your ideas!

Commitment:
Lead one class per week for a session, typically about nine weeks. We’ll work with you on the schedule, grade range, and class length. Please allow time for planning, setup, and dismissal.

Support:
Our Enrichment team will help you develop your class idea and handle registration. A daily volunteer supports attendance and dismissal.

Volunteer benefit:
Your child will receive one complimentary Enrichment class for the session, along with priority registration for additional classes.

A few things to know:
* You should enjoy and feel comfortable leading a group of children. You don’t need a fully developed class plan to express interest!
* Volunteer instructors need a national background check, handled separately from SPS volunteer clearance. You can sign up now — our PTSA Enrichment team will help you complete the check before you begin.
* Volunteers must be Arbor Heights PTSA members for insurance coverage. Membership is $15 through arborheightsptsa.org.
