After-School Enrichment Daily Volunteer

Help keep After-School Enrichment running smoothly! We’re gathering interest in daily volunteers for upcoming sessions.

Volunteers are the heart of this program, and we deeply appreciate your time and commitment. In appreciation for volunteering, your child will receive one complimentary Enrichment class for the session, along with priority registration for additional classes.

Commitment:
Volunteer one afternoon per week for a session, typically about nine weeks. Your shift includes student arrival, classes, and dismissal. Classes run 60–90 minutes, so please allow additional time before and afterward.

What you’ll do:
* Serve as the on-site point person for the Enrichment Program.
* Help with attendance, follow up on missing students, and be available for backup or emergency needs.
* Float between classes to check in and offer support — daily volunteers are not classroom assistants.
* Help coordinate dismissal so students get where they need to go.
* Be consistently available on your chosen day and coordinate coverage with other volunteers if needed.

A few things to know:
* A background check is required for Enrichment volunteers and is handled separately from SPS volunteer clearance. You can sign up now — our PTSA Enrichment team will help you complete the appropriate check before you begin.
* Volunteers must be Arbor Heights PTSA members for insurance coverage. Membership is $15 through arborheightsptsa.org.
* If needed, you may bring a child who is not enrolled in a class, but you are responsible for their supervision.

Once your role is confirmed, we’ll share details about priority registration and your complimentary class.
